Aries

Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac and of the element Fire. It is the start of the personality. Kabbalah says that ה is the starting point of the expression of the personality which has its peak in Virgo י, then, from Libra ל starts the expansion of the personality, the sociality .

To start is one of the main characteristics of Aries, who is always an initiator, a starter, a forerunner. The energies of Aries in starting any thing are incomparable, admirable. Unfortunately, being a battering ram, Aries breaches everything it finds on its way to the target and, furthermore, it is not persistent, does not have continuity in the action.

The actual text of Sepher Yetzirah about Aries is: “...He made the letter Heyking over speech, and He bound a crown to it, and He combined one with another, and with them He formed Aries in the Universe, Nisan in the Year, and the right foot in the Soul male and female.“
